Jang. This place is good value. Open late at night after your 9:30 pretty much there are no good restaurants. Would definitely come back, service is good. Rec beef with sizzling plate, it's a custom request and worth the additional $3. A-choy with beancurb is really good too. All in all another A grade restaurant.

I really have to question their sanitation practices. One of the items I purchased had three pieces of what appears to be elastic bands in it. Of course, I did not eat the meal. Called to report the find, they said they cannot give a refund they only can replace the meal....really? They think I would eat another meal from them after finding foreign items in my meal. That was my first visit, I will not be going back there.

We came here and picked the Fry Pigeon 4 dishes combo. Kids ask for sweet and sour pork so we paid a small fee to switch that in-lieu of the vinegar ribs on the menu. Sweet and sour pork turns out great, kids loved it. fish filet with veggies came out next, fish are definitely the frozen type but they cooked them reasonably well. So the dish turns out not bad at all. Then came the lobster, it was smaller than I expect for a 4 person combo, May be it’s off-season but I could have used more meat on the shells! Taste was a little oily and salty than my liking. Pigeon, star of the meal came out finally, it’s done right, not too dry, crispy and meaty. The size is not the big kind but good enough. We feel like adding a stir fry cramps, it’s fresh but again too oily and salty for my taste. Overall, it’s not a bad meal.

Convenient location. Cozy and clean. Haven’t visited for a long time but recommended by a family member to try their lunch special $8.50 combo which comes with a HK style hot milk tea/ coffee or lemon tea. Extra $0.60 cents for cold drink. Service was good. The staff was polite and nice. Food served fast and hot. They tasted good. We went in till out was less than 30 mins. Very cost effective.

I was looking for a new choice and stumbled upon New Choice Restaurant. This was a fairly packed Chinese restaurant which is always a good sign. They serve Cantonese fare including classic stir-free and congee at reasonable prices. We tried the combo set A for 4 along with congee: - New Choice Premium Congee - Signature Steamed Chicken - Sweet & Sour Pork - Stir Fried Fresh Bok Choy w/ Garlic Sauces - Braised Garoupa with Tofu Glad that house congee came with some shrimp, egg yolk, squid & scallop in a medium sized bowl. The set menu also came with decent soup. But the main dishes were a little light on flavour, helped by salt & white pepper. Portion sizes were large & service was relatively attentive. This spot seems to be a staple for some regulars; we probably won’t be one of them. But glad to have a new choice.

Beef with pepper and fried Pok Choi both taste great, however, the recommended dish by waitress, Thai style grill slice pork, it just toooooo much fats…🫠. Price reasonable with good portion. Service is fine, but I don’t like fixed tips 12% on bill. …

The atmosphere of this restaurant makes me feel like I am in my home town, a very authentic southern-Chinese small restaurant. The food, however, is fairly blant, nothing really spectacular. And even though we arrived at 8pm, it was still short-staffed. These two combined makes the experience really average.
